Class discussions on: stress management, goal setting and boundaries. Instruction on: basics of essential oils, meditation, breathing techniques, stretches, exercises and Qigong. Self-application, implementation and execution of self-care practices into their current schedule.

Ethics - Integrity in Teaching

Course clarifies the ethical standards AP's must adhere to, and the Code of Ethics of the North Carolina Board. Participants will discuss and identify current NCBTMB standards and agreements for educators and approved providers. Participants will discuss the pricing, structure, facility, policies, practices, cancellations, registrations, and referrals offered by other continuing education providers. Participants will discuss the good & bad courses they have attended in the past. Participants will demonstrate proficiency in communicating and maintaining policies, achieving course objectives, and maintaining board ethical standards. Participants will practice boundary conversations for communicating and adhering to the policies they set. Participants will begin to create policies and practices manuals for the continuing education courses they wish to offer. Participants will apply the board standards toward designing a lesson plan timeline and the material of the course.
