Course includes hands-on practice of the effective treament protocols.

expands student’s awareness of their core values and the Code of Ethics of their licensing board in order to create a successful, ethical teaching practice. Begin to create policies and practices manual for the continuing education courses they wish to offer. Discuss and identify current board standards and agreements for approved continuing education providers. Apply apply the board standards toward designing a lesson plan timeline and the material of the course.

8 CE Course $220 9am - 6pm Greensboro - outlines the application steps to become an approved provider, school instructor or workshop facilitator. Learn the various learning styles and methods for presenting course materials. Learn the structure/logic, application and creation of an effective lesson plan, utilizing all 3 learning styles. Design a draft of a 3-hour course/workshop, including elements to establish credibility, guidelines, set expectations, create a safe learning environment and present a portion to the class for feedback.
Teacher Training II - Designing Powerful Courses

8 CE Course $220 9am - 6pm Greensboro - Prerequisite: TT1
Continues to develop a 3-hour course/workshop drafted in Module 1 into a 3-, 6-, or 8-hour course, designing to include elements to establish credibility, guidelines, set expectations & creating a safe learning environment. Update and expand lesson plan to include tools – discussions, journaling, meditation, presenting, lecture, exercises, quizzes, coloring, etc… Presentation training in delivering their welcome, introduction & course overview. Begin to design 1 section of the course they are creating. Present 1 section of the course they are creating to the class & receive evaluations from other students. Discuss and list multiple methods/tools for presenting course material & identify which learning style(s) are being impacted. Be introduced to, discuss and identify the basic structure of a syllabus.
